Tanked UK last night.

Ingvar's Monolithic Cleaver dropped.  I think it looks cool and since my main spec is retribution and I dont always get to have the heirloom axe then this would have made a good dps axe... but I rolled greed for some reason and the healer won it.

Sigh.

Good weekend I guess

Starting Friday I dinged every day on my 60 priest, and now am sitting at 64 -- halfway to Northrend.

I love how easy it is to get through BC, and wish everything could go just as well.

Tried to do Leroy Jenkins last night but didn't kill enough I guess.

New plan for Cataclysm

I will use Bronzebeard for alliance character combos so I can experience every race, and every class (ten classes) and Dalaran for horde, and run those twenty alts to 20.

Saronite

With cataclysm so close to coming out, I am not going to bother gearing up my ret/tankadins and instead just wait for the new 81 pyrite? set (I imagine similiar to how cobalt tank set was available at 70/and lasted some to 80).  I will instead just craft a Tempered Saronite set for my tanks and let that be the end 80 set, which is what I advise all casuals to do.  Took me a better part of this year getting my 80 warlock into T9, then T9.5 (drops), and finally T10 (after 80 days of EOF farming).

Lore

I wish I could come up with some decent lore for these Paladins.  If I was playing Star Wars, there is something mythic and easy about being a Jedi against the Sith, or vice versa.  The Blood Elves racial arch-nemesis is who, again?  According to the official storylines, it has kinda been the undead and also the humans a little bit, but then they team up with the scourge... so ... huh? In BC, they were also messing with the Draenei, and then messing with demons... but nothing on the scale of Jedi vs. Sith.  That's why my Paladins have just been sort of mercenary... wandering place to place and doing Lord knows what.

Cobalt Battlegear

Something I just did last night was to prep my 71 Paladin for tanking.  To that end, I got the easiest set imaginable at this point:  Cobalt Battlegear, which actually is just eight pieces but not a "set".  I had previously been wearing +crit plate.  Now if I can just fix up her prot spec, I will run through dungeons like no tomorrow!

Well, instead of running my yap about the new Cata changes (which aren't final), or the atrocious RealID changes (atrocious), I will talk about my three Paladins.

Paladin1: Kaytee (L80 Paladin)
Paladin2: Caytee (L77 Paladin)
Paladin3: Caytie (L71 Paladin)

In my mind, I sort of think of them as instances of the same archetype in different realities.  Othertimes, I ponder if they could be clones, or sisters (isn't that loosely what clones are)?

Kaytee (L80 Paladin)
Currently inhabiting Dalaran after a long and hard career as a Paladin, although had mostly travelled to and from places in a mercenary like manner.

Caytee (L77 Paladin)
Just finished up Venomspite and Grizzly Hills and about to embark in Scholozaar Basin for her last leg to 80.

Caytie (L71 Paladin)
Just finished Howling Fjord and Camp Winterhoof.  Looking for her next adventure zone.  Oddly enough, she was the one doing the most damage of all of these, and I guess she just had the right talents specced.

Hunter pets?

These are very common creatures that appear in their areas.
