Holy Sheet

In my wanders around Area 52 last night, I came to the vendor and lo
and behold, Blizz has returned the S1/S2 gear back to the game.

S1/2 helm : 1000 honor
S1/2 chest: 1000 honor
S1/2 pants: 1000 honor
S1/2 hands: 750 honor
S1/2 mantle: 750 honor
S1/2 slicer/quickblade: 750 honor

I hopped on my rogue and immediately bought two of those bad boys so I
could transmog.

I intend to get the mantle/chest/hands for warlock and priest.

Hmm

My previous goals were simply this...

P4 to 70
P5 to 70
P6 to 70
New alliance P to 20

And then I found out you could get the T4/T5 stuff in Area 52. OMG.

I think I will just try for shoulder, robes, gloves which is 750,
1000, 750 honor.

LFR

I finally ran an LFR. I think we hit four or five bosses. Each boss seemed to drop perhaps 5-6 epics, so, for a lowly caster like me -- I had to roll against 20ish other people in the raid.

But it was nice to go through a raid on "easy" mode. The RNG drops 384 pieces, which beats the 378s you can get from JPs. It seems to me, if you are a i359 raider, you ought to try to collect JP and VP for 378/3?? and then fill in the blanks with raid drops (384). If you do a real raid, I think that goes to 390 -- it's just that most guilds are so decimated now, that it doesn't happen.
